I'm so excited for The easter bunny!!

This is all of the information you should need for the event!! If you lost your confirmation email with your time and you need to confirm it, please email me and I can let you know, you will also get a reminder email with your start time 3 days prior to the event. PLEASE read this entire page, it should answer all of your questions. If you email me a question that is answered in this email, I most likely won't answer. It is not that I'm trying to ignore you, but the next 7 days are some of the busiest of my entire fall/winter season, so if you don't get a response then I'd re-read this email again. Please allow 48 hours for a response to emails.

First off, this event is supposed to be FUN! This is a fun way for the kids to see the Bunny and talk with him. I know picture days are stressful and not always fun for the parents, but try to relax and enjoy the event :) I work with kids in both my photography business and my day job at a school so trust me when I say a crying child or one who is being stubborn is not going to bother me one bit. I don't take it personally and I won't get frustrated. Parents are always apologizing and seriously it doesn't bother me.

LOCATION

The address is 9120 W. Stange Ave. This is a residential address, but it is a large property and the event will be going on in the backyard. This is not my home, it is of a dear friend who allows me to use their yard for this event. There are trailers and RV's in the backyard, please make sure your kids are not playing around/on them. There is also currently a backyard swing set that he is building (he is an AMAZING handyman btw if you ever need a referral for one) and it probably won't be done by then, so that is another area we will try to keep the kids from. I will have the activities away from those areas, but please help me by making sure they aren't climbing on things that could be dangerous.

There is a dirt road on the East side of the house that you will drive down, and then pull into the gate on the left side. You will see other cars parked where you can park. This is an old video but gives you an idea of where to go.

As you can see, there is a lot of dirt. If you do not want your kids' shoes dirty, I'd suggest bringing another pair of shoes and changing them when they are ready for pictures. It wasn't an issue last year, but I just want to give that option.

There is NOT a bathroom that is available during this event.

PICTURE TIME

You don’t have to “check-in” until you are ready to take pictures. Before you take a picture please make sure you tell me your name so I can write down what number client you are, this is how I know who to send the pictures to. Even if you have come in the past, please don’t assume I recognize you, because I’m great with faces, not so great with names especially after 18 months of masks!

There is really no line, this is a mingle event. There may be a natural line that occurs when kids start to become ready to take their pictures, but I don't traditionally start a line. Anyone that is ready can jump up by the Bunny. If your child is ready and you see a bunch of people around you can ask if people are waiting but a lot of times kids are just checking things out and trying to mentally prepare. At any given time, there shouldn't be more than 10 families at the event. I understand that sometimes things come up and there may be some shift in when you arrive, so there may be more people there than there was originally planned. I am not going to kick people out after your 40 min time. I promise you will not be stuck all day trying to see the bunny, it moves pretty quickly and most of the time, kids get to see him more than once if they want to. It may feel like complete and total chaos (it always does) but the kids have a blast and 99% of the time, I will get you some amazing pictures.

Full families can take pictures with the bunny, it isn't just for the kids, but he will be in all of the pictures. There are VERY rare times when I ask him to move around for specific reasons.

Can I try to take pictures more than once?

If you try once and your child cries or refuses, you can definitely try again, but I ask that you let other families that are waiting to get their first try in before you try again. There will be times that a child will NOT be cooperative and you will just have to embrace a crying photo. I cannot guarantee a perfect, smiling picture of every child, but I will try my best.

Are there any other activities for the kids?

As long as the weather permits, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt going on at different times of the day. No matter when you book, there will be a hunt that corresponds with the time. The times will be released soon.

How long will it take to get my pictures?

Turn around time for the galleries will be 7 days. The galleries will be delivered to you via email and you will choose your three and order more if you would like. Additional images are $10, but there are packages for discounted pricing on digitals.

As stated when you purchased your spot, this is a non-refundable event. If you are unable to attend, you can gift it to someone else, or you can try to sell it to someone else. I just need to be informed who will be taking your spot so I can get them on the list.
